In accordance with the program for the protection of the environment, Bohol Water showed support by actively participating in the coastal clean-up activity on Sunday, February 2, 2025. This activity is in conjunction with the “World Wetlands Day” which is celebrated every year on February 2 with the theme “Protecting Wetlands for Our Common Future”. It seeks to raise awareness about the importance of wetlands and encourage their protection.
The event was attended by various government agencies, organizations and private sectors. Bohol Water, along with their employees, joined the event by cleaning the Abatan River.
